Brushes made in Extended usable in Non-Extended?

This might sound stupid, because I’ve never actually wondered about this before, but say I have Adobe Photoshop CS3. Someone makes brushes (or some other type of resource) in Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended. If I download those, will they work, because they have the EXTENDED version? I know they are same version, but I didn’t know if that made a difference.

Thanks in advance :)

They will work. All brushes are made aved in a .abr format which works in any version of Photoshop.
