There are yet computer pens or laser stylus that can put the mouse away for good the pen is very comfortable and far accurate to draw on paint or use for digital art please tell me when we are going to rid our mice?
I was on Skype with a friend earlier and reached up to get something on my desk without realizing I had a cup full of water there. It fell over and spilled all over my desk, keyboard, and Wacom Bamboo. I dried everything as best I could immediately. The keyboard is fine, but now the entire left half of the Wacom tablet doesn’t communicate with the mouse or stylus. Sweeping motions from right to left stop in the middle of the screen.
I’ve tried using a blow dryer to encourage any water that might have got inside to evaporate, but it hasn’t done any good. I need this to work to finish a digital painting I’m doing for a convention. I don’t have time to order another one. What should I do?
I’m looking to buy a Tablet for Graphics. You know, like CGing scketches, and coloring things like that. Or digital painting.
This will be my first Tablet, so I just want one ideal for beginning Tablet users, i.e. easy to use, about $120 or cheaper, not too many confusing or unnecessary functions.
I’ve heard Wacom is very good in producing Tablets. I was debating on getting Bamboo, or Bamboo fun.
I was swinging more towards Bamboo Fun, seeing as how it is made for Graphic artists. Although, It comes bundled with software I already have, if not , I have BETTER software.
Is there a significant difference between the Bamboo and the Bamboo Fun, besides the software? Is the Bamboo fun worth the extra 20 dollars if not needed for the software it comes with?
I have an HP Media Center 7160n, one year old, 1 GB RAM, 2.8 GHz Pentium D w/Intel 128MB onboard video.
Just installed Flight Simulator X and I’ve got a noticeable drop in frame rate; I have to dial the settings way down to get a decent frame rate, so I guess it’s time to do an upgrade. I was thinking about upgrading my memory to 2GB and getting a better video card (PCI Express), but I don’t have the financial resources right now to do both at the same time. So if were to do one of the two, which should I do first? And if I should get a better card, what should I look for?
I’m a soft-core gamer (I also play SimCity 4 and The Sims 2) and a digital photography/video hobbyist (I use Photoshop and Premiere Elements a lot).
