This might sound stupid, because I’ve never actually wondered about this before, but say I have Adobe Photoshop CS3. Someone makes brushes (or some other type of resource) in Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended. If I download those, will they work, because they have the EXTENDED version? I know they are same version, but I didn’t know if that made a difference.

I’m publishing with Lulu in 2007, and right now my manuscript is all ready. I’ve finished the book cover illustration and just wanted to get some ideas on the book cover size and looks. My programs are limited – Microsoft Digital Imaging Suite, good ol’ Paint, and Picasca 2.
Any links or tips of how to do it would be helpful. This is a self-publishing job, so I need all the help I can get. Thanks!
Hi, any graphic or multimedia artists or web graphics designer here who can help me? im looking for an eBook and sites, and video tutorials which would help me to learn photoshop from absolute beginner to advanced and expert.
My problem is most of the eBooks that i can find are torrents and a pain to download. are there any free eBooks which can be downloaded directly? Most of the sites that I visited are all to advanced tutorials that i couldnt understand because i have a very little grasp and background of photoshop.
The video tutorials that i found are not for free. I also want to have video tutorials to accompany my learning. even the Flash videos or Quicktime embedded in websites will do. I hope you guys would help me. Im studying Web Development and Design and I think learning Photoshop would be a very great help to my future works.. thanks…
I use photoshop and I create my gifs in Image ready. When i’m working on the image the picture is clear as can be. But when I save the Image the picture looks slightly pixelated. Are there any tips and tricks you can suggest?
I was trying to find the ’smudge’ button on the adobe photoshop program because, I was reading the tips and tricks and trying to follow along. I cannot find this button for the life of me! Are there some verisons of Adobe PhotoShop that do not have this “smudge” button?
I would like to learn how to make the effect seen here : http://ssilence.deviantart.com/art/winters-eye-5833497
I’ve been working in photoshop, in photomanipulation for awhile now, and I’ve recently been learning how to enhance and change eye colours. but what i would like to know is, is there any way to make skin completely white in photoshop, or is it only possible in photography, a trick of the camera?
I work for a software company, and a new task I’ve taken on requires me to learn to use Expression Design. I’ve looked and looked for good training courses and books but am coming up pretty empty-handed. (Not that I haven’t found any at all, but what I’m finding is pretty limited, and the books aren’t getting the greatest reviews.)
So, are there any designers out there who have already been through this and can recommend good resources for learning how to use Expression Design?
If this info helps: I’m “fluent” in the Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver) and have done some limited “programming” work with html, css, the easy stuff. I am graphically oriented but am capable of learning the more techy skills if needed. So I’m really going into this as a designer, not a programmer.
I’m definitely not looking for someone to do a search on Amazon or Google for me. I’m looking for someone with experience with this issue who can provide helpful advice.
Thanks!
I should probably reiterate… I’m talking about Expression DESIGN. (Not Blend, or Web)
Although if you have discovered resources that apply to all that may be helpful too- as long as Design is in there. Thanks!
