This might sound stupid, because I’ve never actually wondered about this before, but say I have Adobe Photoshop CS3. Someone makes brushes (or some other type of resource) in Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended. If I download those, will they work, because they have the EXTENDED version? I know they are same version, but I didn’t know if that made a difference.

What art schools should I consider?

Even if it’s impractical, I really want to avoid any commercial or digital art. :/ I want to paint. And it seems like most art schools are geared toward the commercial. I go to a good high school and have very good prospects when it comes to applying to colleges in general, if that matters. I live in Georgia, but I like the climate of New England best. Ignore cost; this is just an initial list, and hey, I can dream.

elements of composition and design; use of material; techniques; and use of various traditional
subject matter. A focus will be placed on perception and “seeing” skills so that the individual’s
drawing skills can be gained or current skills improved upon.

* 9” X 12” sketch book
* Drawing pad contingent on how you will be transmitting drawings. See below:
I recommend that you determine the size of paper that you use for your drawing
by the means that you will be transmitting your drawing.
* If you are using a Digital Camera, I suggest that you use 16” X 20” or 18” X 24”
Drawing Paper.
* If you are using a Scanner, I suggest that you use a size of paper that is closest to your
scanner bed. If you are proficient with Photoshop go ahead and use whatever size you
prefer and you can past it together.
4. Compressed Charcoal stick
5. Pink Pearl Eraser or white eraser

7. Fixative (hairspray)
8. Ebony Pencil (6 B) (pick up about 3 of these).

Is using a photoshop tutorial has a help cheating?

Basically, I’ve been using photoshop for nearly 5 years, I do create my own stuff.
But lately I have been following these internet tutorials that help you create things on photoshop…Would that be cheating or stealing someone elses work? I am really worried that I’ll lose my creativity that way, and that my works lose their originality…:(

How can I take a fake ghost picture?

Just looking for ideas.
Me and a friends are planning on playing a little trick on our friend who’s sort of scared of ghosts, to get her back for a trick she played on us.
We don’t have access t photoshop or anything like that right now, so what can we do?

Anything that wouldn’t be too obvious to her when she saw the picture would be perfect.

What can I do to bring in 300.00 + a month, working from home?

I am a stay-at-home mom to 3 young kids. My husband and I are finally getting a bigger house, but rent is 400.00 more than we are currently paying, plus higher heating bills for a larger home. I need ideas that I can do from home to earn extra money.
1. Low start up costs
2. No glue guns or paint, I am not crafty
3. It must be legal
4. practical with children underfoot.

I do have a computer, internet, printer, fax, scanner, phone, DSLR digital camera, transportation etc.

I am considering childcare for kids from one family, but the taxes with childcare are a pain I would like to avoid. I have done childcare before, I am quite qualified especially as a mom to three.

Any ideas?
I am not looking for “get rich quick” scams in the form or 10,000 websites to scam me, I can find that on my own.
Of all the links posted so far, very few are actually helpfull. I don’t want to work for a foreign company that has no upstanding record in the USA.
I want a legetimate IDEA or plan to make money on my own, not a scam!
