I have a moderate amount of experience in photoshop, but i’ve never learned how to create realistic looking hair. I want to take a picture of someone and give them long “elvis hair”. How would i do this? The person I’m editing has short, smooth hair, so i can’t simply clone stamp more hair on. It needs to look bushy and long. Any tips?
There are yet computer pens or laser stylus that can put the mouse away for good the pen is very comfortable and far accurate to draw on paint or use for digital art please tell me when we are going to rid our mice?
How do you create a digital painting in Photoshop? Speedpainting? I can’t find any ‘How-To’s’ on it! Anyone got any personal experience on it that they’d like to share?
Some step by step way to do a couple of these things would be very much appreciated:
1.) Change eye color. (As real looking as possible)
2.) How to get that flawless, porcelin-skin effect. Like this: http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r263/punkislove41/large_b74b0d6c61719050150de983c5f98.jpg
3.) How to change hair-color.
4.) How to get that dramatic “scene” make-up.
5.) How to change skin-color.
I don’t expect every person to answer all 5 questions, but what you know on a few would be nice.
I’m afraid I’m not super great at tutorials, but I’ll follow your guys directions to the best of my ability.
Again, thank you
You know how in movie posters, the main actor/object is always back lit? With a frame or outline of light? Well, I’m making a poster for the fall theater production in school, and I really want to do that-except I don’t know how and the dodge tool alone doesn’t seem to cut it. For the last two days I’ve been looking everywhere online for some sort of tutorial, but while there are thousands for digital painting/cell shading/shadows-there are zero for back lighting.
I am using an Istock photo (guy in a black shirt, you don’t see his face, and his back is towards you)on a dark background in photoshop, if that bit of info helps.

I love this one o so much! But then again my taste is not always that grand..o well . This was made for a friend and I decided that I would put it on CB just to see what yall think of it. The content area goes on forever and ever sooo write all you want and you wont get that ugly scroll bar! WOOP! Anyway its based on the song “Old School Pervert” by: Jamie Madrox. Grand song go hear it now! Welp you know the drill: replace the xxx ’s with your friend id, replace my rant with your about me, and be a homie and keep the credits on. Could ya, would ya do that for me? Hope yas like it…even though I have my doubts x]. Peace! mcl.

I’m publishing with Lulu in 2007, and right now my manuscript is all ready. I’ve finished the book cover illustration and just wanted to get some ideas on the book cover size and looks. My programs are limited – Microsoft Digital Imaging Suite, good ol’ Paint, and Picasca 2.
Any links or tips of how to do it would be helpful. This is a self-publishing job, so I need all the help I can get. Thanks!
